Western Carolina Diving Dogs is also a sanctioned hosting facility for NADD (North America Diving Dogs) to hold diving dog trials where your dog can earn their NADD titles. NADD titles are recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) through the AKC’s Title Recognition Program.

Interested, but do not have a facility or know of a place to train your dog at? At our facility, we also offer the option to rent the pool to have individual training with your dog or for a group of people to come and train all their dogs together!

Information on Our Facility

Pool Specs
  • Regulation size 21′ x 41.5′ above-ground pool
  • Water depth ranges from 4′ to 4′ 6″
  • Water is filtered and PH balanced
  • Sturdy ramp for dogs to use to enter and exit the pool
Dock Specs
  • Dog dock jumping regulation size of 8′ x 40′
  • Top of dock is 2′ above the water
  • Dock surface is green indoor/outdoor carpet / turf
  • 36″ sturdy handrails
  • Dock has one entrance at the back of the dock and a separate exit near the dog ramp
  • Entrance and exit stairs are gated
  • Vertical rig (8′ from edge of dock, 4′ 6″ – 9’+)
  • Air retrieve rig (4′ off the water, moves length of pool in 1′ increments)
Our Facility
  • Western Carolina location has plenty of room for parking and setting up your canopies and kennels
  • Pool and dock are fenced in 
  • Rural property – noise (barking + excited screams of joy) is not a problem
  • Porta potty on site
  • This is a non-smoking facility
  • No flexi leads or retractable leashes on the property. 4ft leads/leashes preferred.
  • No prong, choke, or e-collars on the dock.
  • Please keep your dogs leashed. No loose dogs, unless working on the dock.
  • Dogs must be kept at an 8ft distance from each one another.
  • A liability waiver must be signed by all parties on the property upon arrival.
  • DO NOT PUSH, THROW, KICK, PULL, OR FORCE YOUR DOG OFF THE DOCK!
  • No bitches in season are allowed on the property.
  • Please clean up after your dog.
  • You must have your dog under control at all times.
  • All vaccinations must be up to date.
